The concern is leaked and not released.
The Quake engine has been released with permission.
Same with the Doom engine.

I just say this as a disclaimer to anyone reading who may want to port his mod over to Dreamcast. It has to be freeware. You can not sell it because the technology is not officially released and you could get into legal trouble.

In reply to cube_b3. Thank you bro, I don't know if this is legal or not, but the guys who made it didn't receive any money!!! And I read on the Assembler Games forum that the guy who leaked half life for Dreamcast is a big boss in Valve, but I'm not 100% sure if this is true or not.

This is a hacked unreleased engine after all….. I don’t know if Valve ever consented to it though…
